The Sugar Valley Lakes community is located near Mound City, which is the county seat of Linn County, Kansas. SVL is 1,160 acres of pure fun and excitement!

You will enjoy the beauty and challenge of our 9 hole USGA golf course. The well-appointed Recreation Clubhouse and complete Pro Shop add to your enjoyment. The swimming pool provides a great opportunity to have fun while staying active and healthy. A campground is located near the beach area. Hidden Valley Lake

Hidden Valley Lake is our other friendly community, located four miles west of Mapleton in Bourbon County, Kansas, about 20 miles north of the county seat, historical Fort Scott.

You will enjoy fishing, boating, skiing and camping at this 75 acre lake on 300 acres of woodland and meadows. Camping amenities are conveniently located. Your family will love the swimming beach, play equipment for the children, and a nearby camping-picnic area. Pool tables, games, snack bar and ice are available at the HVL Clubhouse, along with weekly activities.

Enjoy family fun at Hidden Valley Lakes! Building or camping lots are available.

We hope you enjoy the many activities that Sugar Valley and Hidden Valley have to offer. Please take advantage of the camping, fishing, boating and swimming at both lakes, and the swimming pool and 9 hole golf course at Sugar Valley. Each lake also has its very own schedule of special recreational and entertainment activites. You will receive a bi-annual newsletter to inform you of upcoming events.

The clubhouse at Sugar Valley is open seven days a week. The Hidden Valley clubhouse is open seven days a week in the summer season, April 1 through October 31, and Friday through Sunday in the winter for your convenience. Please stop by either clubhouse for your copy of the Covenants and Restrictions, or contact the SVLHA office and they will mail you a copy.
